Terms of Service

By using this website or engaging our notary services, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

Notary Services

We provide notarial acts as authorized by applicable state law, including acknowledgments, jurats, oaths, affirmations, and other permitted services. All services are subject to state-regulated fees where applicable.

A notary public is a ministerial officer - not an attorney. We cannot provide legal advice, draft legal documents, tell you what type of notarization a document requires, or advise on the legal effect of any document. If you require legal guidance, please consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

Scheduling and Cancellations

Appointments may be scheduled through this website, by phone, or by email. We ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows for mobile appointments may be subject to a trip fee.

Signer Requirements

All signers must present a current, government-issued photo ID at the time of notarization (e.g., driver's license, passport). The document to be notarized must be complete before signing - we cannot notarize a document with blank spaces intended to be filled in later. Signers must appear willing and aware of what they are signing.

Fees and Payment

Notary fees are set in accordance with state law where applicable. Additional fees may apply for mobile or travel services. All fees are disclosed before services are rendered. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Limitation of Liability

We make no warranties regarding the legal sufficiency of any document we notarize. Our responsibility is limited to the notarial act itself. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or acceptance of a notarized document, including rejection by any institution or government agency.

Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse service if we have reason to believe that a signer is being coerced, is not mentally aware of what they are signing, the document is incomplete, or if performing the notarization would violate state law or our professional obligations.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which services are provided. Any disputes arising from these terms or from services rendered shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the applicable state courts.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of this website or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
